Ukubona means “to see” in South Africa’s Xhosa language, and seeing our region’s places and people, culture and life – ‘up-close and personal’ – is what we’re all about.
Our team has a wealth of experience working in our region’s communities and environments. We speak its languages, understand its customs and heritage and know its special places.
So, we can truly offer you an experience that’s always first-hand, face-to-face, real, living, authentic, well-informed and often, off the expected tourism routes.
Ukubona experiences are ‘handmade’, each customised to your needs and interests – from exploring our unique natural landscapes or discovering our history, to meeting our rich tapestry of peoples and cultures.
Since we’re based in Africa’s tourism capital, we offer many same-day Cape Town City, Township, Peninsula, Winelands and Coastal experiences, but we also design 3-4 day tours along the Western Cape Garden route, into the rural Eastern Cape Transkei region and beyond.
